Justice is Blind

Born blind, Michigan Supreme Court Justice Richard Bernstein is a tireless advocate for the disabled. He is the first blind justice, elected by voters statewide, to the Michigan Supreme Court in 2014. With a commitment to justice and fairness, he began his 8-year term in January 2015. He’s also an 18-time marathon runner and Ironman athlete. Come hear his inspiring story, presented by Yachad and B’nai Torah.
