Senior Companion Program
Our senior companion program matches clients with a trained companion who provides non- medical care services such as transportation, meal preparation, socialization, respite for caregivers, and light housekeeping

Kibbitz and Ride Program
Volunteer drivers provide transportation to places such as grocery stores and medical appointments

Case Management for Holocaust Survivors
Holocaust survivors are provided with additional services including financial assistance, help in filing for financial reparations, and social programs life café Europa and Nosh and Nachas. 


shlomit_karasikShlomit Karasik is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, coming to us as a service from Jewish Family Services (JFS).

Shlomit is currently offering divorce counseling, as well as a support group for new moms. As Shlomit becomes more familiar with the needs of our members, and the community, she will offer additional support sessions. She is also available to consult on a one-on-one basis regarding topics including, but not limited to: Divorce and changing families, domestic violence, illness recovery services, loss and bereavement, budgeting, and more. She is also available to provide referrals in the areas of case management, psychiatric services, financial assistance, meals on wheels, food pantry, various senior services, etc.

Shlomit has worked as a behavorial therapist for children with autism and began her career in 2003 as a social worker and therapist for JAFCO. She received her Bachelor and Master Degrees from FAU in Social Work, and holds a Specialist Degree in Education with a specialty in Guidance and Counseling.
