Welcome!

Thank you for your interest in B’nai Torah Congregation, your destination for a meaningful Jewish experience in a community made rich through prayer, education and social programming.

We are a warm, welcoming, multi-generational, modern, and egalitarian synagogue. We are proud to offer a variety of exceptional programs including

•Award-winning Cultural Arts Series featuring our Author Forum

•Widely-successful Concert Series

Youth Group for students in grades 3 through 12

•And much, much more!

We have programs for every generation at B’nai Torah. We also offer a variety of volunteer opportunities that will further enrich your synagogue experience.

B’nai Torah is also home to several schools of Jewish education. The Ruth and Edward Taubman Early Childhood Center is an NAEYC accredited and developmentally-appropriate Jewish program. The Mirochnick Religious School provides grade-school children and teens with a fun and educational setting. The Cooperman Academy for Adult Jewish Learning provides a myriad of options for adults to expand their knowledge of Jewish texts, history and culture. Let’s not forget about the lectures and 92nd Street Y programs, which are streamed live to B’nai Torah. We keep Judaism alive, viable and relevant and offer a place where meaningful and traditional spiritual life can be renewed. Furthermore, we are a center for tzedakah acts and projects. We encourage all to get involved.

We hope that you will consider joining and becoming a part of the B’nai Torah family. Our members are the strength of our synagogue and allow us to enhance Jewish knowledge, observance and culture throughout the community.
